The Single Phase Series Inverter Using SCR is designed for practical study of single-phase inverter operation and SCR-based switching techniques. It provides a suitable platform for understanding DC-to-AC conversion, SCR triggering, pulse control, and inverter circuit operation. The trainer includes a 10:1 potential divider for CRO measurements, overload and short-circuit protection, a 60 W bulb load, an SCR firing circuit, and potentiometer-based pulse control.
