+91 98967 93832The Brewster's Angle Experiment is designed to study the polarization of light by reflection and determine the Brewster's angle of a dielectric material. The experiment demonstrates that when unpolarized light is incident on a dielectric surface at a specific angle, the reflected light becomes completely plane-polarized. It also verifies that the reflected and refracted rays are perpendicular to each other at Brewster's angle. Manufactured by Atico Export India.
Principle
When unpolarized light is incident on the surface of a dielectric material, such as glass, there exists a specific angle of incidence known as Brewster's Angle at which the reflected light becomes completely plane-polarized. At this angle, the reflected and refracted rays are at 90° to each other. By measuring the reflected light intensity at different angles, the Brewster's angle of the dielectric material can be determined.
