Soil column cylinder auger set for Soil Testing Lab

The soil column cylinder auger is designed to collect almost undisturbed soil samples, providing a quick understanding of soil profile structure, root system development and soil characteristics. This information helps improve soil management and fertilisation practices.

The system collects almost undisturbed soil columns measuring up to 1 m in length and 90 mm in diameter without requiring the excavation of a profile pit.

The auger is driven into the soil using a gasoline-powered percussion hammer. An electric hammer can also be supplied on request. The soil column auger features a removable side cover that allows easy inspection and sub-sampling of the collected soil sample.
