+91 98967 93832This specialised soil coring kit is designed to minimise the volatilisation and oxidation of components in soil samples. During sampling, the soil sample is pushed directly into a stainless steel sampling tube, which is then sealed to minimise exposure to air and prevent contact with synthetic materials. This method complies with the NEN 5743 standard for soil and sediment sampling containing volatile components. It can also be used in combination with the methanol method.
Each sample has a volume of 226 ml, making the kit suitable for determining the volume percentage of moisture in undisturbed soil samples. It allows sampling at depths of up to 7 m.
Samples are collected using a small coring apparatus fitted with thin-walled stainless steel sampling tubes. The tubes are preferably pushed into the soil manually, although a steel hammer with nylon heads can also be used.
After sampling, the tubes can be sealed and cooled for transportation to the laboratory. Sub-samples can be collected from the tubes using a small gauge or apple corer. Samples can also be removed using an extruder. All components except the caps can be repeatedly decontaminated and reused. This kit is not suitable for stony soils.
Manufactured by Atico Export to meet the practical requirements of modern environmental laboratories and chemical soil research applications.
