Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Setup

SPR Setup is designed to determine the complex dielectric constant and plasma frequency of metal using Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), as well as the refractive index of a dielectric layer.

Surface Plasmon Resonance is the resonant oscillation of conduction electrons at the interface between materials with negative and positive permittivity when stimulated by incident light. This principle forms the basis of various measurement techniques used for studying material adsorption on planar metal surfaces.
