Tag Open Cup Flash Tester for Oil Fuel and Petroleum Testing Instruments

The Tag Open Cup Flash and Fire Point Tester determines the flash and fire points of liquids at temperatures up to 325°F (163°C), as well as the flash points of cutback asphalts at temperatures below 200°F (93°C). The instrument includes a sample test cup, plated brass liquid bath with constant-level overflow, pivoting ignition taper with pilot light and reference bead, pivoting thermometer holder, heater, and cast-aluminum base. The electrically heated model features stepless variable heat control for accurate adjustment of the temperature rise rate according to applicable specifications.
