ATENG 12686 — Temperature Measurement Unit
Bench-top unit.
Anodized aluminum frame and panels made of painted steel.
Main metallic elements made of stainless steel.
Diagram in the front panel with distribution of the elements similar to the real one.
- Platinum resistance thermometer with digital instrument: use this device to obtain temperature or volts
data.
- Thermistor thermometer: used to obtain volts data.
- Bi-metal dial thermometer, range: 0 – 120 °C.
Vapour pressure thermometer which works following the relation between the temperature in a liquid and
- its vapour pressure, range: 0 – 120 °C.
- Alcohol glass thermometer, maximum temperature: 110 °C.
Wet and dry bulb hygrometer. The dry bulb shows the air temperature, the wet one shows the temperature ATENG 12686 detail
- after evaporating the humidity. Dry bulb thermometer range: 0 – 50 °C.
Thermostatic bath with power regulator and thermostatic protection, used to heat the water until boiling point and check the temperatures
- with different temperature measuring devices, power: 600 W.
Vacumm flask, used to reach temperatures close to 0 °C and check the temperatures with different temperature measuring devices,
- capacity: 2 l.
- Fan, used to cool the thermocouples and the thermostatic bath, range of air flow: 86 m³/h, 2550 rpm.
Self-adhesive patch temperature indicator. It changes colour depending on the temperature. This is reversible, it means, changes its colour
although the temperature decreases.
- Temperature sensors (for measuring the temperature through the digital temperature indicator or directly by a voltmeter):
Six “K“ type thermocouple.
“J“ type thermocouple.
“T“ type thermocouple.
- Connections:
- Shortcircuit connectors: three units to make parallel/series arrangements.
- Thermocouple “J“, “K“, and “T“ type: eight connections.
Switched polarization connection.
Four connections for parallel arrangement.
Four connections for series arrangement.
Connection for thermistor.
Connection for platinum resistance thermometer.
Selector switch for enabling up to eleven sensors or thermocouples circuits to be connected to a digital temperature display.
Cables and Accessories, for normal operation.
