Temperature Monitoring Unit – Transformer Monitoring Advanced

Electronic microcontroller based unit specifically designed for dry type and cast resin transformers
Developed with the layout and advantages of a new technology platform including dual display, voting function and a microcontroller with increased operational capacity and data management, the unit provides the following outputs

• Analog 4–20mA
• Digital RS485 Modbus RTU

It is equipped with 4 Pt100 inputs to monitor the temperature of the windings and ambient temperature through the fourth channel Additional sensor inputs are also supported

The protection relays include :

• ALARM relay for high temperature indication
• TRIP relay to disconnect the transformer at maximum threshold
• FAN1 and FAN2 relays to control the ventilation system
• FAULT relay to signal failures

The unit is available with certification for Canadian and American markets as well as for marine applications
All units can also be supplied with special coating on electronic cards resistant to harsh weather conditions such as high temperature and humidity in tropical climates
