ATENG 12497 — Temperature Test Module for PLC
The “ATENG 12497” unit includes the following elements:
ATENG 12362. Temperature Test Module.
Painted steel box. Connection diagrams for each transducer are represented graphically.
Adjustable bimetallic thermostat:
With heater heating element that allows minimizing the differential cycles and preventing overpeaks.
Temperature range: 0 °C – 30 °C. Normally closed contact.
Magnetic block:
Inside of an external case. Composed of a ferrite pipe, with a heater element inside of them.
Incandescent lamp.
Relay AC:
It allows to turn on and off the incandescent lamp placed over the temperature sensors. Voltage and current
(nominal): 250 V – 10 A. Normally open contact. Switching voltage: 12 V.
Capillary thermostat:
Temperature range: 0 °C – 90 °C. Maximum temperature bulb: 150 °C. Nominal values contact: 15 A,
250 VAC. Normally closed contact.
Thermocouples:
Three chronel-alumel “K” type thermocouples, one in the vicinity of the capillary-type thermostat and the
bimetallic switch sensor, one on the adjustable bimetallic thermostat and one inside the magnetic assembly.
Each of these is used to measure the temperature being controlled by each of the sensors. Temperature
range: -50 °C – 250 °C.
Sensor connections with the base unit and with power supplies are through 2 mm terminals located in the front
panel of the test module.
ATENG 11245. Power Supply.
DC Fixed outputs: + 5 V, ± 12 V, 1 A.
DC Variable outputs: ± 12 V, 0.5 A.
AC Outputs: 12 V or 24 V.
Outputs through 2 mm terminals, or connectors Sub-D of 25 pins (2 outputs).
Voltage LED indicators.
Robust construction.
Power: 110 / 220 VAC. ATENG 11245
Frequency: 50 / 60 Hz.
