EXPERIMENT: DETERMINATION OF THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY
EXPERIMENT SETUP CONSISTS OF:
- Copper Calorimeter – Copper vessel insulated from all sides and enclosed in an acrylic jar, with two holes for rubber tube and a single hole for thermometer
- Digital Stop Clock – Mains operated, Start/Stop switch and Reset button on front face, range 999.9 sec / resolution 0.1 sec
- Electric Hotplate – Non-induction type, 1500 W with regulator knob and pressure cooker steam boiler fitted with rubber tube
- Digital Thermometer – Battery operated, up to 300 °C, resolution 0.1 °C
