The Transformers System Trainer is a complete teaching package focused on electrical power conversion and power distribution in single and three phase supplies. The package is supplied with manuals and laboratory notes that provide a step-by-step guide to setting-up and carrying-out the range of assignments. The system is based around transformers rated at 300VA for single phase and 1KVA for three phases. Power supplies, loading and instrumentation are provided in the form of panels mounted into a bench-standing frame fitted with swivel castors. The training system is designed to ensure safe experimentation for students.

SINGLE PHASE TRANSFORMER

• The transformer is compact and self-contained unit. The input of the transformer shall be 240 V ° 5V and the output has two (2) level of output voltage (240V°5% and 120V°5%). The output either can be one (1) winding with center-tapped or separately two winding.
• All internal components and circuits represented by schematic diagram on the front panel with 4 mm safety terminal sockets at the input and output point. The transformer protected against overload and short-circuits faults by means of fuses.
• Single phase transformer with spitted winding core type.
