+91 98967 93832The Bernoulli's Principle Wind Tunnel Apparatus is designed to experimentally verify Bernoulli's equation by measuring the relationship between airflow velocity and pressure within a wind tunnel. The apparatus measures static pressure and total pressure at different cross-sections of a converging airflow channel. As the cross-sectional area changes, the variation in airflow velocity and pressure can be analyzed to demonstrate Bernoulli's Principle and the continuity equation. Manufactured by Atico Export India.
Principle
According to Bernoulli's Principle, the total energy of a fluid flowing through a streamline remains constant. As the cross-sectional area of the flow passage decreases, the flow velocity increases while the static pressure decreases. In this experiment, a built-in ramp gradually reduces the cross-section of the wind tunnel. A Prandtl pressure probe measures both the total pressure and static pressure at different locations, while a precision manometer measures the pressure difference. The experimental results verify the relationship between pressure, velocity, and cross-sectional area as predicted by Bernoulli's equation and the continuity equation.
