Viscometer Cleaning and Drying Apparatus for Oil Fuel and Petroleum Testing Instruments

The Capillary Viscometer Cleaning and Drying Apparatus cleans and dries glass capillary viscometers using solvent and pressurized filtered air. Suitable for all types of kinematic viscometers, it can clean up to six tubes simultaneously. The tubes are placed on solvent and air jets, with individual valves controlling each jet. A selector dial switches between solvent rinsing and air drying to evaporate residual solvent. An adjustable drainage rack allows excess sample oil to drain from the tubes before cleaning. The drainage trough connects to a suitable waste container or chemical drain for disposal of waste oil and solvent. A built-in air filter removes particles from the air stream. An optional solvent tank is supplied with tubing and fittings for connection to the apparatus. Requires a pressurized air source with a maximum pressure of 150 psi.
