The viscometer is a true Couette coaxial cylinder rotational oilfield viscometer that employs a transducer to measure the induced angle of rotation of the bob by a fluid sample. For fully automated control and data acquisition suitable for research applications, the viscometer can be connected to a computer via a serial port using Windows-based rheology software.
