EXPERIMENT: DETERMINATION OF VISCOSITY OF A GIVEN LIQUID
EXPERIMENT SETUP CONSISTS OF:
- Viscosity Jar – 900 mm acrylic tube rigidly fitted on a heavy base stand and supported with wooden scale
- Digital Stop Clock – Mains operated, Start/Stop switch and Reset button on front face, range 999.9 sec / resolution 0.1 sec
OPTIONAL:
- Magnetic Retainer & Steel Balls – Neodymium magnet tag with long suspended thread, steel balls of dia 6 mm, 20 nos.
- Time Interval Measuring Clock – Measures time between two set points, range: 0–999.9 sec, resolution: 0.1 sec, time measuring based on inputs from start sensor and stop sensor
