+91 98967 93832The spontaneous imbibition Amott test consists of placing an oil-saturated core sample in a brine filled Amott cell. An adequate time between brine filling and sample immersion is necessary to ensure a constant, homogeneous temperature profile in the brine. The volume of oil expelled can accurately be measured by reading the graduation on the cell. The apparatus is comprised of a sealed glass container and a graduation tube located above it.
