Benchtop Rotary Sample Splitter

Rotary sample splitter suitable for dividing dry, free-flowing samples into representative portions.
Suitable for all types of samples including segregated and fine materials.
Bench-type unit designed for small sample volumes (1L to 25L capacity).

Working Principle

• Material is fed through a gravity-fed hopper, assisted by a vibratory feeder.
• The sample is directed to a rotating distributor and divided into multiple portions.
• Splitting ratio is controlled by adjusting the speed of the vibratory feeder and rotating carousel.
• Low operating speed (0 to 50 RPM) ensures continuous and representative division.

Setup Instructions :

Hopper Adjustment :

• Adjust hopper height using corner knobs based on material size

Rotary Carousel Adjustment :

• Set rotation speed to ensure proper distribution and reduce dust

Vibrator Feeder Adjustment :

• Adjust feeder speed to control material flow; may require hopper readjustment

Hopper Vibrator :

• Optional use to prevent clogging and sticking

Operating Instructions :

• Place containers properly on carousel
• Load material into hopper
• Turn on hopper vibrator (optional)
• Start carousel and set speed
• Adjust feeder speed
• Close lid and start feeder
• Run until all material is collected

Note: Do not adjust controls during operation to maintain accuracy
