+91 98967 93832The system performs at reservoir-representative conditions, both drainage and imbibition experiments on core samples while simultaneously determining the rock electrical properties. From these results, the relationships between core saturation profile, capillary pressure and electrical properties can be deduced. Specifically, saturation exponent “n”, formation factor and cementation exponent “m” are calculated. The instrument consists of a core holder furnished with hydrophobic and hydrophilic ceramics, a four electrode configuration for resistivity measurements, a precise, automated flow control system and a resistivity cell dedicated to brine resistivity measurements. Isothermal testing conditions are assured by a temperature-controlled convective heat transfer air bath.
