EXPERIMENT SETUP CONSISTS OF:
- Helmholtz Coil Apparatus – 300 mm rail supported on acrylic base, coil of 150 mm dia and known number of turns
- DC Power Supply – Regulated DC output, with selectable voltages 1.2, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12 V, maximum current up to 2 A
- Gauss Meter & Probe – Auto ranging, able to measure up to 20,000 gauss
- Connecting Wires – As required
- Digital Current Meter – Range 2 A, resolution 1 mA
