PRINCIPLES OF AIRFLOW – FAN TEST AND FLOW MEASUREMENT

Optional components designed for operation with the airflow system, allowing students to quantitatively investigate three methods of flow measurement: the orifice plate, conical inlet and pitot static tube. Students can also use the flow measuring devices in conjunction with a fan throttle to estimate fan performance under a range of conditions.
