+91 98967 93832The Proppant conductivity system Reservoir stimulation Matrix acidizing Instruments evaluates the performance of proppants used in fracture enhancement projects. Using the system, short-term proppant pack conductivity can be measured under various closure pressure and temperature conditions. The experiment consists of displacing a temperature-regulated brine fluid through a proppant pack compressed between two identical, flat, parallel sandstone slabs while measuring the differential pressure and fluid flow rate across the proppant pack. By inputting this data into Darcy’s law, the proppant conductivity can be determined.
The sandstone slabs, driven by a hydraulic press, impose a closure stress that mimics the compressive stress conditions encountered in reservoir formations.
