EXPERIMENT SETUP CONSISTS OF:
- Searle's Apparatus with Wooden Box – Copper / aluminium solid rod of diameter 25 mm and length 200 mm with steam chamber enclosed in a wooden box with insulation
- Steam Generator – 3 L pressure cooker fitted with rubber tube
- Electric Hotplate – Non-induction type, 1500 W with regulator knob
- Digital Thermometer – Battery operated, up to 300 °C, resolution 0.1 °C
- Digital Stop Clock – Mains operated, Start/Stop switch and Reset button on front face, range 999.9 sec / resolution 0.1 sec
