The Cleveland Open Cup Flash and Fire Point Tester is designed to determine the flash and fire points of petroleum products using the Cleveland Open Cup method. It is suitable for petroleum products with open-cup flash points above 79°C (175°F), excluding fuel oils. The instrument consists of a test flame applicator, brass test cup, thermometer support, heating plate and electric heater. The pivoting flame applicator, adjustable flame control and stepless heating system provide accurate temperature regulation and repeatable testing performance.
