The training set examines specific thrust, fuel consumption, and air/fuel ratio of a gas turbine jet engine, along with open-cycle operating principles.

It comprises a single-shaft gas turbine, fuel system, starter, ignition system, measurement equipment, and control equipment. The single-shaft gas turbine includes a radial compressor, axial gas turbine, circular combustion chamber, and nozzle.
