EXPERIMENT: DETERMINATION OF NUMERICAL APERTURE AND ACCEPTANCE ANGLE, ATTENUATION AND BANDWIDTH OF AN OFC
EXPERIMENT SETUP CONSISTS OF:
- X-Y Bed – Graduated screen with pitch of 2 mm, OFC chuck to firmly lock the OFC cable end, slider with scale to vary the distance between screen and OFC
- Semiconductor Diode Laser with power supply, 3 mW and 625 nm wavelength output
- OFC Cables – 2 Nos., multimode type, lengths of 1.5 m and 3 m
- Laser Power Meter – Optical detector displaying laser power (intensity in mW) incident on the pin-hole detector
- Signal Generator – 1 MHz
