pH Regulation Bench

This bench allows the study of pH regulation in a container by acting on the injection speed (liquid base or acid) of a pump via a regulator. Different algorithms can be studied. Educational Objectives: Constitution of a regulation loop (measurement/actuator/regulator), study in servo-control and regulation, influence of the regulation algorithm by returning to a given setpoint following a disturbance. Technical Description

• A 5-liter container
• A stirrer with adjustable stirring speed
• A pH probe
• A variable-flow peristaltic pump (0 to 2 L/h)
• 1 acid storage container
• 1 base storage container
• Analog regulation acting on the peristaltic pump motor control
• Disturbance by base injection
• An IP66 cabinet including: PID regulator, start/stop buttons, contactor for pump, contactor for stirring, mushroom-head emergency stop, general isolator, banana sockets for visualizing regulator input and output
• Welded stainless steel chassis for table mounting

Includes a 9. 7'' touchscreen for visualizing the machine synoptic and real-time parameters, plus a USB port for exporting data in CSV format.
