The didactic pumping station is a small-scale replica of a water distribution network serving a small municipality and the surrounding rural area, supplied by a water storage reservoir. This system was chosen due to: variable number of users, strong fluctuations in captured water reserves especially in summer, and a large water reserve since the installed power of the system cannot meet peak demand during these periods.
