+91 98967 93832A solar and wind micro power plant is an electrical power station using wind and solar energy to produce electricity on a small scale. This electricity can be used to supply isolated sites or fed back to a public distribution network (optional). Learning Objectives: Study of a solar/wind system operating in isolated mode: electrical production charges the batteries and/or is consumed. Learn about Solar–Wind Micro Power Plant exporters for optimal educational outcomes.. Study of industrial system components: photovoltaic panel, wind-specific generator, inverter, rectifier, power analyser, variable speed drive. Commissioning and configuration of components (variable speed drive, charger, inverter). Learn about Solar–Wind Micro Power Plant suppliers for optimal educational outcomes.. Study of component chain efficiency and energy balance by measuring voltages and currents at various circuit points and from available instrument data (control screen, voltage and current clamp meter, network analyser). Comparison of photovoltaic and wind system performance via efficiency calculations. Learn about Solar–Wind Micro Power Plant for educational labs for optimal educational outcomes.. Calculation of battery energy storage autonomy.
The bench is equipped with a 500 W industrial wind generator driven by an asynchronous motor and a 250 Wc solar panel. The control system components are industrial: hybrid regulator/charger, inverter, monitor, variable speed drive.
One 24 V – 250 Wc – 1.6 m² monocrystalline solar panel mounted on a frame with castors; inclination adjustable; connected to the control cabinet by cables with MC4 connectors.
Wind generator: permanent magnet (neodymium/iron/boron) specific to wind applications; 24 V three-phase output; max. 500 W at 2500 rpm; production from 3 m/s wind; driven by a 750 W asynchronous motor at 1400 rpm.
Speed adjustable by variable speed drive integrated in the electrical cabinet; potentiometer on the cabinet front panel; drive programmable via software; rotational speed measured by magnetic sensor on the motor/generator shaft.
IP55 key-locking control and command cabinet containing: one PLC with touchscreen terminal for data acquisition, power and efficiency and wind speed calculation, command, and machine synoptic visualisation; variable speed drive, speed indicator, and network analyser.
Two 12 V 24 Ah AGM (gel lead) batteries.
3 x 40 W, 220 V consumption lamps.
One 24 V DC / 230 V AC inverter.
One hybrid solar–wind rectifier/charger: 12 V / 24 V, 300 W.
