Temperature – Flow – Level Regulation Bench

This bench allows simple temperature, flow, and level regulation, cascade regulation (temperature–flow and level–flow), and study of regulation on hot/cold fluid around a plate heat exchanger. Educational Objectives: Identification of sensors and actuators, regulation loop wiring (simple and cascade), 1st order simple regulation, cascade regulation.

• Welded stainless steel chassis on casters with brakes
• 100-liter stainless steel supply tank with drain valve
• Stainless steel centrifugal supply pump (0. 6 kW, 3000 rpm, 30–80 L/min)
• Stainless steel coil inside the supply tank
• In-line electric heater (immersion heater, 6 kW)
• Brazed-plate heat exchanger (water/water, 0. 12 m² exchange surface)
