+91 98967 93832The Trommel Type Gold Wash Plant is a complete mineral processing system designed for alluvial gold recovery. It integrates multiple stages including screening, scrubbing, gravity separation, and concentration.
The plant processes raw material containing gravel, clay, and sand, and separates gold using a combination of sluice systems and centrifugal concentrators. It is designed for continuous operation and efficient recovery of both coarse and fine gold particles.
WORKING PRINCIPLE:
Process Flow:
Feeding & Screening
Material fed through a grizzly
Large rocks removed manually
Scrubbing
Material enters scrubber
Clay and silt are broken down
Screening
Vibrating screen separates:
Oversize (>10 mm) β rejected
Medium fraction (2β10 mm) β sluice
Fine fraction (<2 mm) β concentrators
Gravity Separation
Sluice recovers coarse gold
Centrifugal units recover fine gold
Tailings Disposal
Waste material discharged
Concentrate Collection
Gold collected from sluice and concentrators
PROCESS DESIGN ADVANTAGES:
AUXILIARY / OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT:
LIMITATIONS:
INSTALLATION & OPERATION CONSIDERATIONS:
Key Requirements:
Stable installation base
Adequate water supply (clean or filtered)
Proper slurry feed consistency
Sufficient slope for tailings discharge
Important Notes:
Poor slurry mixing can reduce recovery
Insufficient water pressure affects performance
External filtration may be required if water is dirty
IMPORTANT TECHNICAL CONCEPT:
Scrubber vs Trommel
Scrubber:
High RPM
Breaks clay using particle interaction
Trommel:
Low RPM
Used mainly for screening
