Enhanced Gravity Separator

The Multi-Gravity Separator (MGS) is an advanced mineral processing machine designed to separate fine and ultra-fine particles based on differences in specific gravity.
It enhances traditional gravity separation by applying centrifugal force, allowing efficient recovery of particles as small as 5 microns. The system works as an improved version of a shaking table, where the flat surface is transformed into a rotating conical drum, significantly increasing separation efficiency.
It is particularly effective for recovering valuable minerals from low-grade ores, tailings, and middling streams.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

The machine operates using a combination of :

• Centrifugal force
• Gravity
• Shaking motion

Process Steps :

• Slurry feed enters the rotating drum
• Drum rotation generates enhanced gravity (centrifugal force)
• Shaking motion creates a shearing effect

Heavy particles :

• Move toward drum wall
• Get pinned due to high force
• Transported by scrapers → concentrate outlet

Light particles :

• Flow with wash water
• Exit through → tailings outlet

Key Concept :

• Separation occurs in a thin flowing film
• Much stronger than conventional gravity separation
• Enables recovery of ultra-fine heavy particles
