Dip Needle Simple Pattern

The instrument consists of a quadrant-shaped scale graduated from 0° to 90° for measuring the inclination of the magnetic needle.

The magnetic needle is made of cobalt steel and measures 10 cm in length.

The needle is mounted on a circular base marked at every 45°, allowing it to rotate freely through a complete range of movement.
