+91 98967 93832The system is designed to help students learn the theory of heat transfer in refrigeration engineering. With proper setup, it can be operated as either a refrigeration system or a heat pump system. All components are mounted on the front panel, allowing students to directly observe, touch, and hear the operation of the system during both cycles.
It provides three expansion devices for the refrigerant:
Students can use the control panel to select the desired expansion device and compare performance under refrigeration and heat pump cycles.
The state of the refrigerant can be observed through six sight glasses positioned at different phases of the cycle. The system includes five manual valves to control the flow direction of the refrigerant. Students must operate these valves correctly to achieve the desired cooling or heating condition.
Pressure switches are incorporated to detect incorrect operation and automatically stop the compressor to prevent system damage.
