+91 98967 93832The Black & White Place Preference Box is designed for the automated assessment of conditioned place preference and aversion in rodents. The apparatus consists of two equally sized Perspex compartments connected by a central grey corridor, with each compartment differentiated by visual and tactile cues. White and black wall colours provide visual differentiation, while smooth and rough floor surfaces provide tactile cues. Transparent frontal walls can be covered with removable opaque covers, and manually operated sliding doors control access between the compartments and corridor. The system can be supplied with or without automatic animal position detection, while weight transducer technology provides reliable animal detection under low-contrast conditions. Up to 8 stations can be connected simultaneously to a computer for control and data analysis. Manufactured by Atico Export with a focus on reliable performance for animal behavioral, reward, addiction, and conditioned place preference research.
