It is suitable for in vivo arterial pressure measurement, perfusion pressure measurement in isolated organs such as the heart or kidney, and isovolumetric left ventricular pressure measurement using a balloon in isolated hearts ranging from mice to larger animals. The transducer features low volume displacement, easy filling, included stopcocks, and a simple holder for rod mounting.
