Compact Shuttle Box for Behavioral Research test

The Compact Shuttle Box is designed for carrying out conditioned reflex experiments, including Active and Passive Avoidance tests, for learning and memory studies in laboratory animals. It consists of two equally sized compartments with independent grid floors, allowing controlled behavioral testing and accurate animal detection through highly sensitive weight transducers. Frontal and top access doors provide convenient access to the experimental area, while different wall shapes and colours can be configured for visual or spatial conditioning. An optional guillotine door allows conversion for Passive Avoidance experiments. The system supports simultaneous control of multiple shuttle boxes through a computer connection without requiring a dedicated PC interface card. A safety system maintains consistent shock intensity regardless of the grid bars contacted by the animal.
