Forced Exercise Walking Wheel Bed for Physiological Research Instrumentation

The Forced Exercise / Walking Wheel Bed is designed for conducting controlled exercise and sleep deprivation paradigms in mice. The system can accommodate up to 20 individual exercise/walking wheels, with each wheel positioned in its own running track and supported by cushioned non-slip grips. A large removable stainless steel waste pan facilitates cleaning, while the wheels can be added or removed during operation. The system can be placed on rubber feet or permanently mounted to a flat surface or workbench and can be easily disassembled for cleaning. A handheld LCD interface allows setting of exercise/walking speed, exercise time, rest time and number of cycles. A built-in USB interface provides connection to a Windows computer for additional control of scheduled exercise parameters.
