The Motorized Wheel for Tethered Mice is an individual mouse activity wheel designed for use with tethered animals. It can be used for both forced and voluntary running studies, although voluntary running may have slightly higher running resistance compared with standard mouse activity wheel systems. The food and water support bracket can be easily removed for maintenance or when not required. The drive motor can also be removed for voluntary running data collection by loosening the thumbscrews. The unit includes the activity wheel and optical sensor. Manufactured by Atico Export for reliable performance in mouse exercise, activity and behavioral research.
