The Mouse Activity Wheel with Dual Lickometer is designed for long-term circadian rhythm and general activity studies in mice. The chamber incorporates a stainless steel floor at the end of the enclosure to accommodate two 50 ml bottles with sipper tubes for monitoring drinking activity. A separate food hopper is mounted on a hanging bracket, allowing it to be easily removed when not required. The bottles can be removed without disconnecting the wiring, while cover plates allow the system to be configured for studies requiring fewer than two drinking tubes. Standard bedding may be placed in the portion of the tub containing the wheel and food hopper when present.
