The Mouse Misstep Wheel is a complete activity wheel chamber designed for mouse locomotor and motor skill studies. It features individually removable rungs that can be arranged or removed to create complex wheel rung patterns similar to the Motor Skill Sequence (MOSS) test. The clear polycarbonate cage includes a stainless steel top cover, integrated food and water support, a removable lightweight anodized aluminum wheel, and a vented access hatch. The wheel operates with virtually friction-free movement on two low-friction bearings and can be easily removed for cleaning and maintenance. All major components can be removed together through the top cover, while the complete chamber can be disassembled for cleaning. The system includes both a standard wheel and a configurable misstep wheel.
