Open Field Box for Behavioral Research test

The Open Field Box is designed for evaluating an animal's basal activity and changes in activity in response to novelty, anxiogenic environments, pharmacological treatment, lesions or genetic modifications. The open-field arena is constructed from durable, non-absorbent material that does not retain odors and is easy to clean. High surrounding walls and non-reflective surfaces make the arena suitable for video-tracking applications. The system is completely demountable for convenient storage and can be supplied with different floor colors and optional dividers for simultaneous testing of multiple animals.
