Progressive Ratio and Effort Related Choice Task PR ERC for Rats for Physiological Research Instrumentation

The Progressive Ratio Task is designed for controlled cognitive and physiological research involving motivation, reward-related decision making and progressive response behavior. Manufactured by Atico Export with a focus on precision, durability and consistent performance for physiological research and experimental laboratory use.

• Designed to assess motivation and reward-related decision making
• Suitable for evaluating motivational behavior and reward-seeking responses

Task principle :

• Subjects are required to touch the screen progressively more times to receive a reward
• Provides a touch screen-based paradigm comparable to lever or nose-poke response tasks
• Produces less variable data compared with non-touch screen paradigms
• Can be sensitive to experimental manipulations that promote progressive ratio performance
