The Rat Activity Wheel with Triple Lickometer is designed for long-term circadian rhythm and general activity studies in rats or similar-sized animals. The system combines a rat activity wheel with three lickometer drinking stations for simultaneous monitoring of locomotor activity and licking behavior. The stainless steel wheel has a 14-inch (35.56 cm) internal diameter and operates with less than 6 grams of turning force. Its durable running surface uses stainless steel rods arranged for animal comfort and long-term use. The lickometer section includes a perforated stainless steel floor while retaining space for standard bedding, along with three 50 ml bottles fitted with sipper tubes. Bottles can be removed without disconnecting wires, and cover plates allow studies requiring fewer than three active tubes. An easily removable stainless steel food hopper is included.
