Rodent Shocker for Behavioral Research test

The Rodent Shocker is designed for reliable electrical induction of seizures in small experimental animals such as mice and rats for testing anticonvulsant drugs and conducting electrical kindling studies. The system delivers a sinusoidal alternating current through suitable stimulation electrodes to produce controlled clonic and/or tonic seizure responses. The stimulation current and duration can be adjusted according to the experimental protocol, while the delivered current is displayed after stimulation. Two electrode configurations are available for eye or ear stimulation. A constant-current, fully floating output and multiple safety features help control the stimulation process, while a foot switch allows convenient operation. The system is manufactured by Atico Export for controlled performance in animal seizure and pharmacological research.
