These metal discs are designed to demonstrate that some metals are magnetic while others are non-magnetic, making them suitable for general metal identification experiments.
The set consists of circular metal discs, each approximately 25 mm in diameter.
The set includes 8 different metals: mild steel, stainless steel, brass, zinc, nickel silver, bronze, aluminium, and copper.
The discs are available in the following configurations:
Available Sets :
A. Set of 8 discs, one of each metal, with an identification mark such as the metal name stamped on each disc.
B. Set of 8 discs, one of each metal, without identification marks on the discs.
C. Set of 16 discs, 2 of each metal. One disc of each metal is stamped with the metal name, while the other remains unmarked.
These sets help students understand and compare the ferromagnetic, diamagnetic, and paramagnetic behavior of different metals.
