Shocker for Behavioral Research test

The Electric Shock Generator with Scrambler is designed for controlled electrical stimulation in a variety of laboratory animal behavioral experiments. The shock is generally applied through the bars of the floor grid in experimentation cages. Rectangular current pulses are switched consecutively across six bars using an electronic scrambler. The output current is isolated with respect to ground to help minimize electrical interference with other equipment. Shock intensity is user-adjustable and the output current is designed to remain independent of the animal's resistance or the number of bars being touched, providing consistent and repeatable stimulation. The duration of the electrical shock can also be adjusted.
