Signal Conditioners for Physiology Lab

The signal conditioners are compatible with fiber optic pressure catheters and fiber optic temperature catheters. The internal technique used to transmit and receive the light signal enables continuous sensing without relying on light pulses. Since the light is not pulsed, there is no need for a minimum catheter length as required with previous fiber optic sensors. A built-in fan helps prevent overheating and protects the unit during operation. The system provides RS-232/RS-485 digital output and 0 to 5 V analog output, with an analog output cable supplied with a BNC connector for connection to common data acquisition systems.
