+91 98967 93832The Tail Flick Analgesia Meter is designed for sensitive assessment of analgesic properties of pharmacological substances using a radiant heat stimulus applied to the animal's tail. It can also be used to evaluate basal thermal pain sensitivity and investigate potential genetic differences in thermal pain responses without drug administration. During testing, radiant heat is applied to the tail and the animal's tail flick response automatically stops the heat stimulus and timer. An adjustable photo beam detects the tail movement, while the reaction latency is displayed digitally with 0.1 second precision. A precisely aligned heat stimulus and detection beam, adjustable response sensitivity, and a tail positioning groove help provide repeatable and reliable measurements. The system supports rats and mice of different sizes and can be operated using manual or remote triggering. An automatic cut-off function helps prevent excessive thermal exposure. Manufactured by Atico Export with a focus on reliable performance for animal pain, analgesia, and thermal nociception research.
