+91 98967 93832The Touchscreen Rota Rod is designed to assess motor coordination and fatigue resistance in rodents and can be used to study the effects of pharmacological substances, brain damage, or diseases on motor performance. The animal is placed on a rotating rod and the timer is started, while mechanical detection records when the animal falls safely into its individual lane. The system automatically records fall latency and rotation speed, while an advanced microprocessor provides precise timing and accurate speed regulation. Rotation can be operated at a constant speed or using a defined acceleration rate over a selected period. The touchscreen graphical user interface provides clear visualization of timing and speed for each lane and allows users to change modes, adjust speed, and create experimental protocols. Acquired data can be stored in table form by lane and trial. Manufactured by Atico Export with a focus on reliable performance for animal motor coordination, fatigue, and behavioral research.
