Vogel Test Home cage for Behavioral Research test

The Vogel Test Home Cage is a complete home cage system designed for conducting the Vogel conflict test as a standard method for fast screening of the potential anxiolytic properties of drugs. The system allows Vogel experiments to be performed directly in the animal's home cage. A specially designed nipple and electronic detection system detect and count licking responses while excluding non-specific contacts. Different cage configurations are available for mice and rats, and the system can be configured for simultaneous testing of up to 32 cages with computer-based protocol control, data acquisition and analysis. The system is manufactured by Atico Export for reliable performance in animal behavioral and pharmacological research.
